With a forest feel and, open spaces for kids to explore, there will be lots to do. This family photo spot offers a mix of urban and natural backdrops, perfect for capturing both playful and cozy family moments.

Promenade Park is a fun and energetic location for families who love a mix of nature and city backdrops. With bridges overlooking the river, and a scenic wooded trail just a five-minute walk away from easy street parking. There is plenty of open space to explore! Your family with find opportunities for natural, joy-filled photos throughout the park. As well as street parking, there is a paid lot just a couple of minutes away for easy access. And the best part? After capturing beautiful family moments, the kids can let loose at the splash pad! Who am I kidding, I’ll for sure stick around to capture that fun!

Franke Park-Wide Fields, Trails and Zoo Fun

Just 10 minutes from downtown Fort Wayne, Franke Park offers the perfect mix of convenience and natural beauty. After a quick two-minute drive to the inside of the park, you can step right out of your car and straight into stunning open field or scenic trails—no long hikes required! The grassy terrain is wagon-friendly and stroller-possible, making it a great choice for families with little ones. With a wide open field and wooded paths, that literally glow in the Fall, there is plenty of space to explore, and highlight the joy your family feel when you’re together. This Fort Wayne gem is perfect for relaxed, authentic family moments in a peaceful, nature-filled setting.

BONUS: Cedar Creek – A Scenic Adventure for Nature-Loving Families

Located within Metea Park is a stunning secluded creek spot where you can explore, splash and create stunning memories as you have fun together. 

It is about a 20-25 min walk but in my opinion with the right attitude and promised snacks you and your kids will LOVE the experience and captured joy from making this trek. Plus it is a great way to get to know each other on the walk and for your kids to feel comfortable and familiar with me before we start the session.
